Save and reuse a custom QR code design
Separate the design from the destination
A reusable design is a collection of colours, dot and corner styles, transparency and frame settings. The encoded destination belongs to each individual code. Keeping them separate helps you reuse a visual style without carrying an old URL or password into a new project.
Jarvis QR saves styling only when you explicitly choose Save design. QR contents and uploaded logos are excluded. A saved frame caption remains part of the design, so check that it makes sense for the next code.
Save a look on your device
Choose a preset, adjust its colours and pick a frame. Use dark dots on a light background, preserving the clear border. Wait for the local scan check before deciding that the design is ready.
Worked example: choose Indigo with rounded corners and a card frame captioned OPEN OUR MENU. Select Save design, then start a new website code. Choose Load saved to restore the same look and review the new destination before downloading.
Move styling between devices
Export design creates a small JSON file containing the style settings. On another device, choose Import design and select that file. Your QR content stays in the current editor, so importing a design does not replace the destination.
An uploaded logo is intentionally excluded from reusable design files. Add the appropriate logo locally for each project, then wait for the scan check. Keep exported design files somewhere you control if you want to use them later.
Check every final result
Different content can produce different QR patterns. A style that scans with a short link may need a simpler treatment when used with longer contact details. Check each completed code and test a printed sample at the intended size.
Use PNG or SVG for individual artwork, or the A4 and US Letter print controls to repeat the current code on a label sheet or make one larger sign. Designs and downloads are free, without registration or watermarks.
